Stovetop Directions: Bring 3 cups water and 1/4 teaspoon salt to a boil. Add 1 cup Steel Cut Oats. Cover and simmer 25-30 minutes (depending on desired consistency) stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let stand covered for several minutes. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Topper Suggestions: honey, cinnamon, fruit, nuts,
seeds, raisins or be creative and add your own!
Although oats are naturally gluten free, these Steel Cut Oats are not certified gluten free and have been processed in a facility that also processes wheat.
Oxygen Absorber Packet: An oxygen absorber packet is added to each pouch to keep food fresh and is not edible. DISCARD immediately after opening.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place (room temperature or below without freezing). Once opened, freeze dried foods absorb moisture from the air and will soften in texture. Freeze dried foods can last up to a year after opening depending on the humidity in your area.
Reseal immediately after opening for best results.
